Before a piece ever meets its hanger, it lives several lives in our Lekki atelier. This is the journey.
It begins on paper
Every design starts as a silhouette question: how should she feel walking in? Sketches become patterns; patterns are argued with, corrected, and only then trusted with fabric. [EDIT: add the house’s true design ritual.]
Fabric has the casting vote
A design that sings in crepe can sulk in satin. We source for hand-feel and movement first, appearance second — if it does not move beautifully, it does not matter how it photographs. [EDIT: name signature fabrics/sources if desired.]
Cut, sewn, finished by hand
Cutting is measured twice and done once; construction passes through hands that have made hundreds of pieces; finishing — hems, linings, closures — is where a garment quietly becomes luxury. Every piece is inspected, pressed and wrapped before it travels. [EDIT: team/process specifics welcome here.]
The result is what you unwrap: a piece made in Lagos, to a standard that travels anywhere.
